SmartVax is privileged to partner with AusVaxSafety
to build a significant national vaccine surveillance system
Established in 2014, AusVaxSafety is a collaborative vaccine safety surveillance initiative operating nationally. It is led by the National Centre for Immunisation and Research and Surveillance (NCIRS) and funded by the Australian Government Department of Health.
SmartVax currently contributes a large proportion of all AusVaxSafety data nationally. In 2019, SmartVax provided ALL of the data for seasonal influenza vaccinations and monitored approximately 330,000 influenza vaccination encounters.
